Yoann Combémorel
Conductor
About
Emerging French conductor Yoann Combémorel is an exceptional young talent who exhibits clear technique and a magnetic presence. From Mozart to Puccini, Bruckner, Messiaen and Lili Boulanger, Combemorel’s wide-ranging repertoire features a strong interest in contemporary music and underrepresented composers, highlighting and rediscovering repertoire by women and afro-american composers who have been historically overlooked. Equally at home in opera and symphonic repertoire, his artistic vision is deeply connected to human rights, helping audiences reflect on the social issues. In April 2025, Yoann also discovered a lost Samuel Barber manuscript that has never been recorded and plans to release it in the season 2025-2026.
